Notes:

  1. Subsequent actions by the Board may have changed the regulations since this document was filed in the Mecklenburg County Courthouse. There is no requirement that MALA rules changes need to be recorded. However, these rules are still mostly in effect, although some may have been added.
  2. The paragraph with the red strikethough is no longer valid because the quoted Virginia Property Owners’ Act (VPOAA) therein quoted was deemed no longer to apply to MALA, as per paid legal opinion, in August 2009. As such, the strikethough paragraph can no longer assert the authority of the VPOAA.
